An address is all it needs.
You paste a public wallet address. Portify never asks for a recovery phrase or a private key, and never asks for permission to move funds.
You paste an address. Portify handles the rest in four steps.

Each network stores balances differently. Portify keeps a profile for every chain, covering Ethereum-compatible chains, Solana and several other networks, so it queries the right node the right way.
Decimals, symbols and token names are normalised to a single standard. An asset that lives on several chains is still treated as the same asset.
Balances are multiplied by the latest price and summed into a total, with profit and loss and a list of positions. Anything that does not add up goes into a review list.
Four steps: take the public address, read each chain with that chain’s profile, normalise the token, then apply a price.
Anything that does not add up stays on the review list. It is not filled with a made-up number.
A block is a package of transactions the network has accepted. Portify does not mine blocks and does not write transactions.
Each chain has its own reading profile. Balances are normalised before a price is applied.
Limits that remain: a chain can reorganise, a node can fail, and data can arrive late.
